STL Distribution's Publisher Service is the only full-service distributor serving Christian publishers and manufacturers. Here's what that means: There are a number of distributors within the CBA industry who provide basic product fulfillment services such as product warehousing, order entry, picking and packing, and credit and collections.
There are also a number of good sales and marketing companies which will put your products in their catalog and present them to the key CBA retailers while you, the publisher/manufacturer, provide the warehousing and order fulfillment. STL combines both to provide clients with a single point of contact for sales and logistics.
What Can A Full-Service Distributor Do For You?
First, outsourcing the non-publishing related parts of your business frees you up to focus on what you do best, publishing. No one gets into publishing to have to worry about warehousing and fulfilling orders or to compensate a sales force large enough to make your products broadly available to all your potential consumers. A full-service distributor enables you to focus on what you enjoy and do best, finding great authors and developing innovative products. Then you can leave the rest to us!
Second, a full-service distributor helps you reduce costs. Most small and medium-sized publishers/manufacturers can't afford a warehouse and a national sales force. Many large publishers/manufacturers who can afford this have found that it is more cost-effective to outsource this expense to someone who does this for a living.
Who Are The People Who Will Serve You?
Publisher Services is managed and led by committed Christians with many years of experience in the Christian publishing and retail industry.
